The Clarendon nightlife scene will get a fully renovated drinking destination later this summer with the arrival of Wilson Hardware, a new bar that plans to woo neighbors with textured leaf-print walls and candle-lit vibes.
Inside, a large papier-mâché mural covers the bar’s exposed brick wall, designed by D.C. firm SWATCHROOM. And upstairs on the rooftop, the bar features a graphic tile motif in black and white and plants overhead, along with high tables and two large flat-screen televisions.
The duo added the bar will have a “trendy, cool” vibe and will serve “good food” alongside a “good selection of wine, beers and craft cocktails.”
The 7,000-square foot bar and lounge includes a chicly designed patio and rooftop and three distinct bar areas. Patrons can expect a trendy atmosphere with stylish touches such as custom metal chandeliers, liquid metal mirrors and a candle wall.
“The menu includes a variety of contemporary American dishes as well as some favorites from around the world,” Ghareeb says. “This includes both small plates and modernized versions of American classics.”
